Mamma Mia Movie gathering!

Ruby and I went to the Great World City - Golden Village for the gathering before our national day - Oct. 10.

Movie - Mamma Mia, is the buffering agent. We got to know some new friends and saw once again some old friends from Taiwan. Curtis's friend, 霍霖, and his family were finally to our sight. Around 300 Taiwanese reunioned for this activity held by Taipei Business Association, under the current chairwoman - Julie Chu. She is also on the Saturday Times today.

As for the movie, it is very entertaining and hilarious, though not logical. When I saw the Chinese Subtitle, I realize the ten dollars spent for watching a movie like this is more cost-effective compared to last one seen in other foreign country.

Our first shot at The Straits Times

Today Saturday Times has pubished a comparison between Singapore and Taiwan using a qualitative method. Ruby and I were interviewed and our picture taken in LKYSPP has a part in the record of our journey in Singapore. It is part of the chain reaction from my interview in the CommonWealth Magazine August Edition.
We both regard this show-up as an exposure of Taiwan in the international society, to gain more visibility. Listen, WE are here.

2nd YICGG in Rome

This is the picture taken in the conference venue - Casa Dell'Avitore conference room. Alex Jingwei, Boon and I represented LKYSPP to present our research proporsal - ASEAN Disaster Response Training and Logistic Centre. The conference itself was not well organized, participants indifferent to topics of global governance. We had no idea why some of the speeches categorized as issues of global governance. Most of the participants were browsing the guide book and prepared to travel around once the daily formal event ended after our lunch at 2.30pm.
